Hello, I am new here. I have been feeling the call to Mount Shasta and was wondering what the community is like there. I have visited once and only overnight, last weekend. I feel I am to relocate there and would like to try and make connections with others who would be welcoming. Is the OHM or divinejoy community virtual only or actual as well?
Namaste,
Samantha

Re: Community in Shasta
Sat, October 7, 2006 - 1:11 PMDearest Samantha!
i just replied to your personal message to me. Yes, right now the Open Heart Movement Foundation is still virtual but in practical progress. We are actually in the grounding process of aligning with a 5 bedroom temple house here in Shasta to begin the next stage. These things are now coming together as the timing is right and it is now feeling like the 3 men and 3 women will be coming together to begin the work and service of the curriculum and deepening in relationship within each other . Right now there are two of us, Mikael and Samantha, and a third Kelly is moving out from colorado Oct. 14th. I feel it would be good to meet soon.
please let me know your higher guidance and yummy feelings,
Welcome OHM...
dear one.....

Re: Community in Shasta
Fri, October 20, 2006 - 4:39 PMThank You Mikael,
A very interesting time indeed. I am currently working in creating a Global Priestess/Priest exchange between those who have trained in Avalon or through brother and sister Priestesses and Priests of Avalon who have in turn provided training for those who feel called or who are remembering their service as Priests and Priestesses of the land, to heal, love and create. We are all over in the UK, Argentina, Holland, California, and all over the world. It has been my charge to bring us all together as an inclusive family to connect, learn and grow. Sometimes spiritual communities can become very local-centric and this is what many of us are trying to break the cycle of, so that we can all be family.
I would love to meet you sometime. I replied to you privately about when I am coming up to shasta in the future. I would love to hear what you are doing in more detail. I am hoping in moving up to shasta that I can in time, create a place for pilgrims to come and find sanctuary. I used to be a chef and Innkeeper in my "professional' life before my vocation as a priestess became my full time calling. I would like to incorporate both my talents, skills and abilities in both areas one day.
In time, I Know we will meet. Life is just too delightfully uncanny for us not to.
A Beautiful Diwali to you radiant Light!
namaste,
Samantha
